The Article 6.4 Supervisory Body aims to adopt the sustainable development (SD) tool at its next meeting in September/October. This tool is the main instrument to safeguard environmental, ecological and human rights, including the rights of Indigenous People. As this tool is therefore now in its final stages, Carbon Market Watch urges the Supervisory Body to take into account critical recommendations to ensure the SD tool can deliver adequate safeguards.
