The conclusions on Article 6.2 from Subsidiary Body for Scientific and Technological Advice (SBSTA 56) invited observer organisations to make submissions on “any of the elements referred to in paragraphs 3, 6, 7 and 10 of decision 2/CMA.3 for consideration by the SBSTA.”
Carbon Market Watch welcomed the opportunity to share our views on Article 6.2 with negotiators. This document contains the feedback we submitted.  We focus on:

• Corresponding adjustments for single-year NDCs while avoiding double counting
• Tables and outlines for required information as well as agreed electronic format
• Guidelines for reviews: modalities for reviewing information that is confidential
• Infrastructure, including guidance for registries, international registry, Art 6 database, the CARP
• Consideration of whether ITMOs could include emission avoidance
